Grace Baptist Church MIssions

Grace Baptist Missions exists to bring the Word to the World. Jesus Christ is building His Church (Matt. 16.18) and He has said that His Church will be a witness of Him to the ends of the earth (Acts 1.8). In humble obedience to the headship of Christ, GBM seeks to support those who are called of God, sent and under the authority of a local church of like faith and practice (Acts 13.1-4) for the faithful proclamation of the gospel of our Lord and Savior to all ends of the earth. This implies a desire of GBM to share in the salvation of souls and the establishment of churches of like faith and practice on all seven continents for the purpose of making disciples of all nations (Matt. 28.19).

GBM sees four pillars, building on the foundation which is Christ Jesus, that are essential to bringing the Word to the World (1Cor. 3.11):

The Pillar of Prayer. Believing with Jesus Christ our Lord as our example (John 17.20), the church should offer constant, vigilant prayer on behalf of missionaries (Acts 12.5; 2 Thess. 3.1-2; James 5.16).
The Pillar of Praise. Believing with Jesus Christ our Lord as our example (John 17.4), that obedience to the command to do the will of the Father brings praise to God.
The Pillar of Power. Believing with Jesus Christ our Lord as our example (Eph. 1.19-20), that the power of God is able to overcome any and all obstacles to mission work (Eph. 6.10; Rom. 1.16).
The Pillar of Personal Involvement. Believing with Jesus Christ our Lord as our example (John 17.18), that God has a part in missions for each and every believer (Matt. 28:19.20).
